﴿قَالَ إِنِّي لَيَحۡزُنُنِيٓ أَن تَذۡهَبُواْ بِهِۦ وَأَخَافُ أَن يَأۡكُلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُ وَأَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ غَٰفِلُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 13]
﴿قال إني ليحزنني أن تذهبوا به وأخاف أن يأكله الذئب وأنتم عنه﴾ [يُوسُف: 13]
| Shabbir Ahmed Jacob said, "I worry that you take him with you to the wild and some wolf devours him when you are distracted |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed Yaqoub (Jacob) said: "Really it makes me sad that you should take him away: I am afraid that the wolf may eat him when you are not attending to him |
| Talal A Itani New Translation He said, 'It worries me that you would take him away. And I fear the wolf may eat him while you are careless of him |
| Talal Itani He said, “It worries me that you would take him away. And I fear the wolf may eat him while you are careless of him.” |
| Tbirving He said: "It would worry me for you to go off with him. I fear a wolf will eat him up while you are careless about him |
