﴿قَالَ يَٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسۡجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقۡتُ بِيَدَيَّۖ أَسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ أَمۡ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَالِينَ ﴾
[صٓ: 75]
﴿قال ياإبليس ما منعك أن تسجد لما خلقت بيدي أستكبرت أم كنت﴾ [صٓ: 75]
| Shabbir Ahmed Said He, "O Iblis! What has kept you from being submissive to that which I have created with My Hands? Are you too proud or are you of the rebellious |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed (Allah) said: "O Satan! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to the one whom I have created with Both My Hands? Are you proud (and haughty)? Or are you one of the high (and mighty) ones |
| Talal A Itani New Translation He said, 'O Satan, what prevented you from prostrating before what I created with My Own hands? Are you too proud, or were you one of the exalted |
