﴿وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ فَٱخۡتُلِفَ فِيهِۚ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةٞ سَبَقَتۡ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّنۡهُ مُرِيبٖ ﴾
[هُود: 110]
﴿ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب فاختلف فيه ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك لقضي﴾ [هُود: 110]
Abdel Haleem We gave Moses the Scripture before you, but differences arose about it and if it had not been for a prior word from your Lord, a decision would already have been made between them, though they are in grave doubt about it |
Abdul Hye Indeed We gave the book to Moses, but differences arose therein, and had it not been for a word that had gone forth before from your Lord, the case would have been judged between them. Indeed they are in suspicious doubt about it (this Qur’an) |
