﴿قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ تَفۡتَؤُاْ تَذۡكُرُ يُوسُفَ حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ حَرَضًا أَوۡ تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡهَٰلِكِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 85]
﴿قالوا تالله تفتأ تذكر يوسف حتى تكون حرضا أو تكون من الهالكين﴾ [يُوسُف: 85]
| Abdel Haleem They said, ‘By God! You will ruin your health if you do not stop thinking of Joseph, or even die.’ |
| Abdul Hye They said: “By Allah! You will never cease remembering Joseph until you become weak with old age, or until you are of the dead.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They said: "By Allah! (never) wilt thou cease to remember Joseph until thou reach the last extremity of illness, or until thou die |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They said: by Allah! thou wilt not cease remembering Yusuf until thou art wizened or thou be of the dead |
| Ahmed Ali By God," said they, "you will never stop thinking of Joseph till you are consumed or perish |
| Aisha Bewley They said, ´By Allah, you will not ever cease to mention Yusuf, till you waste away or are among the people of the grave!´ |
