﴿قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 39]
﴿قال رب بما أغويتني لأزينن لهم في الأرض ولأغوينهم أجمعين﴾ [الحِجر: 39]
| Abdel Haleem Iblis then said to God, ‘Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lure mankind on earth and put them in the wrong |
| Abdul Hye (Satan) said: “O my Lord! Since You let me go astray, I shall indeed adorn (path of error) for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all |
