﴿وَلَا تَمۡشِ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَرَحًاۖ إِنَّكَ لَن تَخۡرِقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَلَن تَبۡلُغَ ٱلۡجِبَالَ طُولٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 37]
﴿ولا تمش في الأرض مرحا إنك لن تخرق الأرض ولن تبلغ الجبال﴾ [الإسرَاء: 37]
| Abdel Haleem Do not strut arrogantly about the earth: you cannot break it open, nor match the mountains in height |
| Abdul Hye And don’t walk on the earth with arrogance. Surely, you can neither penetrate the earth nor can attain the height of the mountains |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And walk thou not on the earth struttingly; verily thou wilt by no means rend the earth, nor canst thou attain to the mountains in stature |
