They did not cease to cry this until We reduced them to - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 15 in English

﴿فَمَا زَالَت تِّلۡكَ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 15]

They did not cease to cry this until We reduced them to stubble, still and silent

﴿فما زالت تلك دعواهم حتى جعلناهم حصيدا خامدين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 15]
