﴿بَلۡ تَأۡتِيهِم بَغۡتَةٗ فَتَبۡهَتُهُمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمۡ يُنظَرُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 40]
﴿بل تأتيهم بغتة فتبهتهم فلا يستطيعون ردها ولا هم ينظرون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 40]
Abdel Haleem It will come upon them suddenly and stupefy them; they will be powerless to push it away; they will not be reprieved |
Abdul Hye Nay, it (the fire) will come to them all of a sudden and will perplex them, so they will neither be able to avert it nor they will get any respite |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Nay, it may come to them all of a sudden and confound them: no power will they have then to avert it, nor will they (then) get respite |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi Aye! it would come upon them on a sudden and shall dumbfound them; they shall not be able to avert it, nor shall they be respited |
Ahmed Ali It will come upon them unawares confounding them, and they will not be able to keep it back, nor will they be given respite |
