﴿لَوۡ كَانَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ءَالِهَةٗ مَّا وَرَدُوهَاۖ وَكُلّٞ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 99]
﴿لو كان هؤلاء آلهة ما وردوها وكل فيها خالدون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 99]
| Abdel Haleem if these [idols] had been real gods they would not have gone there- you will all stay there |
| Abdul Hye If these (deities) were worthy of worship, they would not have entered it (hell), and all of them will abide in it |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Had these been gods, they would not have gone down thereunto; and all of them therein shall be abiders |
| Ahmed Ali Had they really been gods they would not have entered it: They will all abide in it for ever |
| Aisha Bewley If those had really been gods, they would not have gone down into it. Each one will be in it timelessly, for ever |
