﴿ثَانِيَ عِطۡفِهِۦ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ لَهُۥ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا خِزۡيٞۖ وَنُذِيقُهُۥ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ ﴾
[الحج: 9]
﴿ثاني عطفه ليضل عن سبيل الله له في الدنيا خزي ونذيقه يوم﴾ [الحج: 9]
| Abdel Haleem turning scornfully aside to lead others away from God’s path. Disgrace in this world awaits such a person and, on the Day of Resurrection, We shall make him taste the suffering of the Fire |
| Abdul Hye bending things to mislead others from the Way of Allah. For such persons, there is disgrace in this world and We shall make them taste the punishment of burning (fire) on the Day of Resurrection |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali (Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men) astray from the Path of Allah: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire) |
