﴿قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَرۡجُومِينَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 116]
﴿قالوا لئن لم تنته يانوح لتكونن من المرجومين﴾ [الشعراء: 116]
| Abdel Haleem So they said, ‘Noah, if you do not stop this, you will be stoned.’ |
| Abdul Hye They said: “If you don’t cease, O Noah! You will surely be among those stoned (to death).” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned |
| Ahmed Ali They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death |
| Aisha Bewley They said, ´Nuh, if you do not desist you will be stoned.´ |
| A. J. Arberry They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned |
