﴿وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمۡ رَبُّكُم مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ عَادُونَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 166]
﴿وتذرون ما خلق لكم ربكم من أزواجكم بل أنتم قوم عادون﴾ [الشعراء: 166]
| Abdel Haleem and abandon the wives that God has created for you? You are exceeding all bounds,’ |
| Abdul Hye and leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a transgressing people!” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing |
| Ahmed Ali Leaving the consorts your Lord has made for you? But you are a people who exceed the bounds |
| Aisha Bewley leaving the wives Allah has created for you? You are a people who have overstepped the limits.´ |
| A. J. Arberry leaving your wives that your Lord created for you? Nay, but you are a people of transgressors |
| Ali Quli Qarai abandoning your wives your Lord has created for you? Rather you are a transgressing lot.’ |
