﴿فَأَلۡقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلۡقَفُ مَا يَأۡفِكُونَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 45]
﴿فألقى موسى عصاه فإذا هي تلقف ما يأفكون﴾ [الشعراء: 45]
| Abdel Haleem But Moses threw his staff and- lo and behold!- it swallowed up their trickery |
| Abdul Hye Then Moses threw his stick, and behold, it swallowed up all that they falsely showed |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Then Moses threw his rod, when, behold, it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake |
