﴿لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا هَٰذَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 68]
﴿لقد وعدنا هذا نحن وآباؤنا من قبل إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين﴾ [النَّمل: 68]
| Abdel Haleem We have heard such promises before, and so did our forefathers. These are just ancient fables.’ |
| Abdul Hye Indeed we were promised this to us and our forefathers before. Surely, this is nothing but tales of the ancient people.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients |
