﴿إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ عَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعٗا يَسۡتَضۡعِفُ طَآئِفَةٗ مِّنۡهُمۡ يُذَبِّحُ أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيِۦ نِسَآءَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ﴾

﴿إن فرعون علا في الأرض وجعل أهلها شيعا يستضعف طائفة منهم يذبح﴾ [القَصَص: 4]
Abdel Haleem Pharaoh made himself high and mighty in the land and divided the people into different groups: one group he oppressed, slaughtering their sons and sparing their women––he was one of those who spread corruption–– |
Abdul Hye Surely, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land, divided its people into sects, oppressed one group among them, killed their sons, and spared their females. Surely, he was of those who committed great sins |
