﴿مَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهَاۖ وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجۡزَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[القَصَص: 84]
﴿من جاء بالحسنة فله خير منها ومن جاء بالسيئة فلا يجزى الذين﴾ [القَصَص: 84]
| Abdel Haleem Whoever comes before God with a good deed will receive a better reward; whoever comes with an evil deed will be punished only for what he has done |
| Abdul Hye Whoever brings a good deed, shall have the better from it. Whoever brings an evil deed, then those who do evil deeds, will be punished only for what they did |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds |
