﴿وَلَوۡ أَنَّمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقۡلَٰمٞ وَٱلۡبَحۡرُ يَمُدُّهُۥ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡحُرٖ مَّا نَفِدَتۡ كَلِمَٰتُ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 27]
﴿ولو أنما في الأرض من شجرة أقلام والبحر يمده من بعده سبعة﴾ [لُقمَان: 27]
| Abdel Haleem If all the trees on earth were pens and all the seas, with seven more seas besides, [were ink,] still God’s words would not run out: God is almighty and all wise |
| Abdul Hye And if all the trees on the earth were pens and the sea (were ink to write) with 7 more seas behind it (supply), yet (the writing of the) Words of Allah would not be exhausted. Surely, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words of Allah be exhausted (in the writing): for Allah is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom |
