﴿وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ٱدۡعُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ يُخَفِّفۡ عَنَّا يَوۡمٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ﴾
[غَافِر: 49]
﴿وقال الذين في النار لخزنة جهنم ادعوا ربكم يخفف عنا يوما من﴾ [غَافِر: 49]
| Abdel Haleem Those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Hell, ‘Ask your Lord to lessen our suffering for one day,’ |
| Abdul Hye And those in the fire will say to the keepers (angels) of hell: “Call upon your Lord to lighten the punishment for us for a day!” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Those in the Fire will say to the Keepers of Hell: "Pray to your Lord to lighten us the Penalty for a day (at least) |
