﴿قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُ تَأۡتِيكُمۡ رُسُلُكُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰۚ قَالُواْ فَٱدۡعُواْۗ وَمَا دُعَٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَٰلٍ ﴾
[غَافِر: 50]
﴿قالوا أو لم تك تأتيكم رسلكم بالبينات قالوا بلى قالوا فادعوا وما﴾ [غَافِر: 50]
| Abdel Haleem but they will say, ‘Did your messengers not come to you with clear evidence of the truth?’ They will say, ‘Yes they did,’ and the keeper will say, ‘You can plead, then, but the pleas of disbelievers will always be in vain.’ |
| Abdul Hye They (keepers) will say: “Did there not come to you Messengers with clear evidences? They will say: “Yes.” They will reply: “Then pray (as you like)!” But the invocation of the disbelievers is nothing but in error |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They will say: "Did there not come to you your messengers with Clear Signs?" They will say, "Yes". They will reply, "Then pray (as ye like)! But the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile wandering) in (mazes of) error |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They will say: came there not your apostles Unto you with evidences? They will say: Yea? They will say: supplicate then yourselves. And supplication of the infidels will be but in wandering |
