﴿فَٱسۡتَخَفَّ قَوۡمَهُۥ فَأَطَاعُوهُۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 54]
﴿فاستخف قومه فأطاعوه إنهم كانوا قوما فاسقين﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 54]
| Abdel Haleem In this way he moved his people to accept and they obeyed him- they were perverse people |
| Abdul Hye Thus he (Pharaoh) befooled and misled his people, and they obeyed him. Surely, they were a people who were sinners |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Thus did he make fools of his people, and they obeyed him: truly were they a people rebellious (against Allah) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Then he incited his people and they obeyed him; verily they were ever a transgressing people |
