﴿يَسۡمَعُ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ ﴾
[الجاثِية: 8]
﴿يسمع آيات الله تتلى عليه ثم يصر مستكبرا كأن لم يسمعها فبشره﴾ [الجاثِية: 8]
| Abdel Haleem who hears God’s revelations being recited to him, yet persists in his arrogance as if he had never heard them––[Prophet] bring him news of a painful torment!–– |
| Abdul Hye before whom the revelations of Allah are recited, yet persists with pride as if it did not hear them. So announce a painful punishment to them |
