﴿وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ ﴾
[الجاثِية: 9]
﴿وإذا علم من آياتنا شيئا اتخذها هزوا أولئك لهم عذاب مهين﴾ [الجاثِية: 9]
| Abdel Haleem who, if he knows anything about Our revelations, ridicules it! Such people will have a humiliating torment |
| Abdul Hye And when one learns something of Our Revelations (this Qur’an), it takes them as a joke. For such people, there will be a humiliating punishment |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And when he learns something of Our Signs, he takes them in jest: for such there will be a humiliating Penalty |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And when he cometh to know aught of Our revelations, he taketh it scoffingly. These! theirs shall be a torment ignominous |
| Ahmed Ali When he comes to know something of Our messages he makes fun of them: For them is shameful punishment |
| Aisha Bewley When he does learn something of Our Signs, he makes a mockery of them. Such people will have a humiliating punishment |
