﴿وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزۡدَجَرٌ ﴾
[القَمَر: 4]
﴿ولقد جاءهم من الأنباء ما فيه مزدجر﴾ [القَمَر: 4]
| Abdel Haleem although warning tales that should have restrained them have come down to them–– |
| Abdul Hye And indeed there has come to them the news (in this Qur’an about previous nations) wherein there is (enough warning) to check (from evil) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And assuredly there hath come Unto them tidings wherein is a deterrent |
| Ahmed Ali Messages deterring them from evil had come to them |
