And those whom you invoke other than Allah, they can neither help - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 197 in English

﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَكُمۡ وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَنصُرُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 197]

And those whom you invoke other than Allah, they can neither help themselves nor you

﴿والذين تدعون من دونه لا يستطيعون نصركم ولا أنفسهم ينصرون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 197]

but those you call on instead of Him cannot help you or even help themselves.’
