﴿وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ أَنۡ أَفِيضُواْ عَلَيۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَآءِ أَوۡ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُۚ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 50]
﴿ونادى أصحاب النار أصحاب الجنة أن أفيضوا علينا من الماء أو مما﴾ [الأعرَاف: 50]
| Abdel Haleem The people of the Fire will call to the people of Paradise, ‘Give us some water, or any of the sustenance God has granted you!’ and they will reply, ‘God has forbidden both to the disbelievers |
| Abdul Hye The inmates of the fire will cry out to the residents of Paradise: “Pour on us some water or anything Allah has provided you.” They will say: “Allah has forbidden both (water and provision) to the disbelievers |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali The Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden: "Pour down to us water or anything that Allah doth provide for your sustenance." They will say: "Both these things hath Allah forbidden to those who rejected Him |
