﴿وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ لَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتُمۡ شُعَيۡبًا إِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 90]
﴿وقال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه لئن اتبعتم شعيبا إنكم إذا لخاسرون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 90]
| Abdel Haleem The disbelieving leaders among his people said, ‘You will certainly be losers if you follow Shuayb’ |
| Abdul Hye The chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people said: “If you follow Shuaib, then surely you will be the losers!” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali The leaders, the unbelievers among his people, said: "If ye follow Shu'aib, be sure then ye are ruined |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And the chiefs of those who disbelieved amongst his people said: should ye follow Shu'aib, lo! verily ye will be the losers |
| Ahmed Ali The chiefs among his people who did not believe said (to them): "If you follow Shu'aib and his way you will surely be ruined |
| Aisha Bewley The ruling circle of those of his people who were kafir said, ´If you follow Shu´ayb, you will definitely be lost.´ |
