﴿كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوۡ ضُحَىٰهَا ﴾
[النَّازعَات: 46]
﴿كأنهم يوم يرونها لم يلبثوا إلا عشية أو ضحاها﴾ [النَّازعَات: 46]
| Abdel Haleem On the Day they see it, it will seem they lingered [in this life] an evening [at most,] or its morning |
| Abdul Hye On that Day, when they will see it, it will be as if they had not stayed (in this world) only an afternoon or one morning |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof |
| Ahmed Ali The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn |
