﴿قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَتَىٰكُمۡ عَذَابُهُۥ بَيَٰتًا أَوۡ نَهَارٗا مَّاذَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُ مِنۡهُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 50]
﴿قل أرأيتم إن أتاكم عذابه بياتا أو نهارا ماذا يستعجل منه المجرمون﴾ [يُونس: 50]
| Dr Kamal Omar Say: “Have you (ever) pondered if His punishment reached you by night or by day? What is that portion thereof the Mujrimun make haste (for that) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: Considered you that if His punishment approached you at nighttime or at daytime, for which portion would the ones who sin be ones who seek to hasten |
| Dr Munir Munshey Say, "The punishment might come any time during the night or the day. What do you think? What would the criminals accomplish by seeking to hasten it |
