﴿وَشَرَوۡهُ بِثَمَنِۭ بَخۡسٖ دَرَٰهِمَ مَعۡدُودَةٖ وَكَانُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 20]
﴿وشروه بثمن بخس دراهم معدودة وكانوا فيه من الزاهدين﴾ [يُوسُف: 20]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they sold him for a low price, for a few Dirhams (this is the name of the currency). And they were, regarding him, out of those who were content (i.e., they did not desire to earn much money through him) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And they sold him for a meager price of coins, ones that are numbered. And they had been of him among the ones who hold him in low esteem |
