﴿وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِرُسُلِهِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِنَآ أَوۡ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَاۖ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ لَنُهۡلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 13]
﴿وقال الذين كفروا لرسلهم لنخرجنكم من أرضنا أو لتعودن في ملتنا فأوحى﴾ [إبراهِيم: 13]
| Dr Kamal Omar And those who disbelieved said for their Messengers: “Surely, we shall drive you out of our land or you must return in our Millat.” So their Nourisher-Sustainer sent inspiration towards them: “Truly, We shall annihilate the transgressors |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And those who were ungrateful said to their Messengers: Certainly, we will drive you out of our region unless you revert to our creed. So their Lord revealed to them: Truly, We will cause to perish the ones who are unjust |
| Dr Munir Munshey The unbelievers said to the messengers, "We would certainly drive you out of the land, unless you return to the folds of our religion." Their Lord disclosed to them (the messengers), "We will, surely wipe out the evildoers |
| Edward Henry Palmer And those who misbelieved said to their apostles, 'We will drive you forth from our land; or else ye shall return to our faith! ' And their Lord inspired them, 'We will surely destroy the unjust |

| George Sale And those who believed not, said unto their apostles, we will surely expel you out of our land; or ye shall return unto our religion. And their Lord spake unto them by revelation, saying, We will surely destroy the wicked doers |
| Maududi Then the unbelievers told their Messengers: "You will have to return to the fold of our faith or else we shall banish you from our land." Thereupon their Lord revealed to them: "We will most certainly destroy these wrong-doers |
