﴿وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلۡتُمُوهُۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَظَلُومٞ كَفَّارٞ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 34]
﴿وآتاكم من كل ما سألتموه وإن تعدوا نعمة الله لا تحصوها إن﴾ [إبراهِيم: 34]
Dr Kamal Omar And He gave you out of all items what you asked Him. And if you count the Blessings of Allah you will never (be able to) count them. Verily, man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer and an extreme disbeliever |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And He gave you all that you asked of Him. And if you were to number the divine blessing of God, you would not count them, truly, the human being is wrongdoing and an ingrate |
Dr Munir Munshey He granted you whatever you asked for. His blessings upon you are so numerous, they are incalculable! Man, indeed, is ungrateful and unjust |
Edward Henry Palmer and brought you of everything ye asked Him: but if ye try to number God's favours, ye cannot count them;- verily, man is very unjust and ungrateful |
Farook Malik He has given you all that you could ask for and if you want to count the favors of Allah, you will never be able to count them. In fact, man is unjust, thankless |
George Sale He giveth you of every thing which ye ask him; and of ye attempt to reckon up the favours of God, ye shall not be able to compute the same. Surely man is unjust and ungrateful |
Maududi and Who gave you all that you asked Him for. Were you to count the favours of Allah you shall never be able to encompass them. Verily man is highly unjust, exceedingly ungrateful |
