We established in the heavens mansions or divisions of the ecliptic to

﴿وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 16]

We established in the heavens mansions or divisions of the ecliptic to be occupied by the moon on successive days and a belt within which the apparent motions of the sun, the moon and principal planets take place - Signs of the Zodiac*- and We adorned them with qualities affording keen pleasure to the sense of sight

﴿ولقد جعلنا في السماء بروجا وزيناها للناظرين﴾ [الحِجر: 16]
