﴿قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ مَعَهُۥٓ ءَالِهَةٞ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذٗا لَّٱبۡتَغَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ سَبِيلٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 42]
﴿قل لو كان معه آلهة كما يقولون إذا لابتغوا إلى ذي العرش﴾ [الإسرَاء: 42]
| Dr Kamal Omar Say: “If there had been, along with Him, aaliha (gods, deities), as they assert, then they, certainly, would have sought to the Owner of the Throne a way (to share authority and create disruption in the universe) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: If there had been gods along with Him as they say, then, they would, certainly, be looking for a way to the Possessor of the Throne |
