﴿قَالَ مَوۡعِدُكُمۡ يَوۡمُ ٱلزِّينَةِ وَأَن يُحۡشَرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحٗى ﴾
[طه: 59]
﴿قال موعدكم يوم الزينة وأن يحشر الناس ضحى﴾ [طه: 59]
| Dr Kamal Omar (Musa) said: “The appointed (encounter) with you should take place on the Festival-day and that the people may be made to assemble by the time the sun has risen (i.e., early forenoon) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Moses said: That promised will be for the Day of Adornment and let humanity be assembled in the forenoon |
| Dr Munir Munshey (Musa) said, "Let the coming festival day be the appointed date, and let the people gather at high noon |
| Edward Henry Palmer Said he, 'Let your appointment be for the day of adornment, and let the people assemble in the forenoon |
| Farook Malik Moses replied: "Let it be the Day of Festival and let the people be assembled before noon |
| George Sale Moses answered, let your appointment be on the day of your solemn feast; and let the people be assembled in open day |
| Maududi Moses said: "The appointment to meet you is on the Day of the Feast and let all people come together before noon |
