﴿قَالَ أَفَتَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكُمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمۡ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 66]
﴿قال أفتعبدون من دون الله ما لا ينفعكم شيئا ولا يضركم﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 66]
| Dr Kamal Omar (Ibrahim) said: “Do you then worship besides Allah that which does not benefit you to any extent and does not harm you (in any way) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar He said: Worship you, then, other than God what neither profits you nor hurts you at all |
| Dr Munir Munshey He said, "Why then do you worship those besides Allah. They grant you no benefits, nor inflict any harm |
| Edward Henry Palmer Said he, 'Will ye then serve, beside God, what cannot profit you at all, nor harm you |
| Farook Malik At this Abraham said, "Do you then worship these deities, instead of Allah, who can neither benefit nor harm you |
| George Sale Abraham answered, do ye therefore worship, besides God, that which cannot profit you at all, neither can it hurt you |
| Maududi Abraham said: "Do you, then, worship beside Allah a thing that can neither benefit you nor hurt you |
