﴿وَلَا يَزَالُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّنۡهُ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةً أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ عَذَابُ يَوۡمٍ عَقِيمٍ ﴾
[الحج: 55]
﴿ولا يزال الذين كفروا في مرية منه حتى تأتيهم الساعة بغتة أو﴾ [الحج: 55]
Dr Kamal Omar And those who have disbelieved will not cease (to be) in doubt about it (i.e., Al-Kitab) until the Hour comes unto them out of a sudden, or there comes unto them the torment of the destructive Day |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And those who were ungrateful cease not to be hesitant about it until the Hour approaches them suddenly or the punishment approaches them on a withering Day |
