﴿۞ وَأَقۡسَمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ لَئِنۡ أَمَرۡتَهُمۡ لَيَخۡرُجُنَّۖ قُل لَّا تُقۡسِمُواْۖ طَاعَةٞ مَّعۡرُوفَةٌۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[النور: 53]
﴿وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لئن أمرتهم ليخرجن قل لا تقسموا طاعة معروفة﴾ [النور: 53]
Dr Kamal Omar They swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if you ordered them they will surely come out (of their houses to strive in Allah‘s Cause). Say: “Swear you not. What is required is desirable obedience. Verily, Allah is Well-Aware of what you do.” |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And they swore by God their most earnest oaths that if thou wouldst command them, they would go forth. Say: Swear not; honorable obedience is better. Truly God is Aware of what you do |
