﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامٗا مَّعۡدُودَٰتٖۖ وَغَرَّهُمۡ فِي دِينِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 24]
﴿ذلك بأنهم قالوا لن تمسنا النار إلا أياما معدودات وغرهم في دينهم﴾ [آل عِمران: 24]
| Dr Kamal Omar This is because they said: “The Fire shall not touch us except for the days numbered. And has deceived them, about their religion, whatever forgeries they were committing |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar That is because they said: The fire will not touch us but for numbered days. And they were deluded in their way of life by what they had been devising |
| Dr Munir Munshey That is so because they say, "The fire (of hell) will not touch us, except for a few days." That, which they (forged and) fabricated in their religion, duped them |
