﴿خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنظَرُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 88]
﴿خالدين فيها لا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينظرون﴾ [آل عِمران: 88]
| Dr Kamal Omar They will abide in that (state). The punishment shall not be lightened on them and they shall not be given respite |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar ones who will dwell with it forever. Neither will the punishment be lightened from them, nor will they be given respite |
| Dr Munir Munshey They shall live in that state forever. Never will their suffering ease, nor shall they ever have a (moment of) a respite |
| Edward Henry Palmer they shall dwell therein for aye - the torment shall not be alleviated from them, nor shall they be respited |
| Farook Malik They shall remain under it forever; neither will their punishment be lightened nor will they be given respite |
| George Sale They shall remain under the same for ever; their torment shall not be mitigated, neither shall they be regarded |
| Maududi Thus shall they abide. Neither shall their chastisement be granted nor shall they be granted any respite |
