﴿قُلۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَتۡحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنظَرُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 29]
﴿قل يوم الفتح لا ينفع الذين كفروا إيمانهم ولا هم ينظرون﴾ [السَّجدة: 29]
| Dr Kamal Omar Say: “On the Day of Al-Fath, shall not benefit those who disbelieved, their Faith (if they attain it at the eleventh hour when they have seen the proceedings of the Hereafter), and nor they shall be allowed (any) respite.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: On the Day of Victory there will be no profit for those who disbelieved if they, then, have belief nor will they be given respite |
| Dr Munir Munshey Say, "Once the day of decision is already here, believing will not do the unbelievers any good. They will not be given a second chance either |
| Edward Henry Palmer Say, 'On the day of the decision their faith shall not profit those who misbelieved, nor shall they be respited |
| Farook Malik Tell them: "On the Day of Judgement it will be of no benefit to the unbelievers even if they believe, since at that time they will not be granted a respite |
| George Sale Answer, on the day of that decision, the faith of those who shall have disbelieved shall not avail them; neither shall they be respited any longer |
| Maududi Tell them: "If the unbelievers were to believe on the Day of Judgement that will not avail them. For then they will be granted no respite |
