﴿قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقۡدِرُ لَهُۥۚ وَمَآ أَنفَقۡتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَهُوَ يُخۡلِفُهُۥۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ ﴾
[سَبإ: 39]
﴿قل إن ربي يبسط الرزق لمن يشاء من عباده ويقدر له وما﴾ [سَبإ: 39]
Dr Kamal Omar Say: “Truly, my Nourisher-Sustainer enlarges the provision for whom He thinks proper out of His Ibad, and also restricts it for him (according to his needs, if He thinks proper)." And whatever you spent of anything, so He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: Truly, my Lord extends the provision for whomever He wills of His servants and confines for him what He wills. And whatever you spent of anything, He will replace it. And He is Best of the ones who provide |
Dr Munir Munshey Say, "My Lord expands the provisions _ or restricts them _ for any of His servants He pleases. It is He Who compensates and replaces whatever you spend (or consume). He is absolutely the very Best of Providers |
Edward Henry Palmer Verily, my Lord extends provision to whomsoever He will of His servants, or doles it out to him. And what ye expend in alms at all, He will repay it; for He is the best of providers |
Farook Malik O Prophet tell them: "Surely my Lord gives abundantly to whom He pleases and sparingly to whom He wills. Whatever you spend in charity, He will pay you back. He is the best of those who provide sustenance |
George Sale Say, verily my Lord will bestow provision in abundance unto whom he pleaseth of his servants, and will be sparing unto whom he pleaseth: And whatever thing ye shall give in alms, he will return it; and he is the best provider of food |
Maududi Say, (O Prophet): "Verily, my Lord grants provision abundantly to whomsoever He pleases and straitens it for whomsoever He pleases. Whatever you spend, He will replace it. He is the Best of all Providers |
