﴿لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدۡعُونَنِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَعۡوَةٞ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ﴾
[غَافِر: 43]
﴿لا جرم أنما تدعونني إليه ليس له دعوة في الدنيا ولا في﴾ [غَافِر: 43]
| Dr Kamal Omar No doubt that, a certain one, you call me towards him — there is no (title) for him to be called upon in this world, and nor in the Hereafter. And that our return is (certainly) to Allah and that those who cross the limits: they (are to be the) dwellers of the Fire |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Without a doubt what you call me to has no merit. It is not a call to the present or to the world to come. And our turning back is to God. And, truly, the ones who are excessive, they will be Companions of the Fire |

| Maududi There is no doubt that those whom you call me to have no claim to be called upon in this world and in the Hereafter. Certainly to Allah shall be our return, and those who exceed the limits are destined to the Fire |
