﴿وَذَٰلِكُمۡ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمۡ أَرۡدَىٰكُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 23]
﴿وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرين﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 23]
| Dr Kamal Omar And this (had been) to you your thought which you harboured regarding your Nourisher-Sustainer. That (thought) has destroyed you, so you have become out of those who have lost |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And that your thought, which you thought about your Lord has dealt destruction to you. Then, you became among the ones who are losers |
| Dr Munir Munshey Such notions you had about your Lord! And they actually brought about your fall. You became the losers |
| Edward Henry Palmer And that thought of yours which ye thought concerning your Lord has destroyed you, and ye have now become of those who lose |
| Farook Malik This thought of yours, which you entertained concerning your Lord, has brought you to destruction and now you have become of those who are utterly lost |
| George Sale This was your opinion, which ye imagined of your Lord: It hath ruined you; and ye are become lost people |
| Maududi This thought of yours about your Lord has led to your perdition and you have become among the losers |
