﴿لَّا يَسۡـَٔمُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مِن دُعَآءِ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَيَـُٔوسٞ قَنُوطٞ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 49]
﴿لا يسأم الإنسان من دعاء الخير وإن مسه الشر فيئوس قنوط﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 49]
Dr Kamal Omar A human being does not get tired of an invokation (or prayer) for good; and if an affliction touched him, then (immediately he is that) who has given up all hope, (and one) who has gone in despair |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar The human being grows not weary of supplicating for good, but if the worst afflicted him, then, he is hopeless, desperate |
