Dr Kamal Omar Have they, who have persisted in evil deeds, assessed that We will regard them equal to those who have accepted Faith and performed righteous deeds — (during) their life-span (in this world) and (at the time of) their death? (It is evident) injustice what they pronounce as (My) judgement |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Assumed those who sought to do evil deeds that We will make them equal with those who believed and did as the ones in accord with morality? Are their living and dying equal? How evil is the judgment they give |
Dr Munir Munshey Do they think that We would treat the unbelievers committing evil deeds, in just the same manner as We treat the believers performing the righteous deeds? Should their lives and their deaths be equal? How wrong is their judgment |
Edward Henry Palmer Do those who commit evil deeds count that we will make them like those who, believe and work righteous deeds, equal in their life and their death?- ill it is they judge |
Farook Malik Do the evil doers think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do good deeds, and that their lives and deaths shall be alike? Worst is the judgment that they make |
George Sale Do the workers of iniquity imagine that We will deal with them as with those who believe and do good works; so that their life and their death shall be equal? An ill judgment do they make |
Maududi Do the evil-doers imagine that We shall make them equal to those who believe and do good, making their lives and deaths alike? How vile is their judgement |
