﴿وَبَدَا لَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ﴾
[الجاثِية: 33]
﴿وبدا لهم سيئات ما عملوا وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون﴾ [الجاثِية: 33]
| Dr Kamal Omar And the evils of what they did became evident unto them. And whatever they were mahead of state a mockery thereat encircled them (as a disgraceful punishment) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And shown to themselves will be the evil deeds they did. They will be surrounded by what they had been ridiculing |
| Dr Munir Munshey The evil of their deeds will (then) become apparent to them. That, which they (now) ridicule, (will come back to haunt them and) will surround them |

| Maududi (On that Day) the evil of their deeds will become apparent to them and what they had mocked at will encompass them |
