﴿وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَعۡلَمَ ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَنَبۡلُوَاْ أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 31]
﴿ولنبلونكم حتى نعلم المجاهدين منكم والصابرين ونبلوا أخباركم﴾ [مُحمد: 31]
| Dr Kamal Omar And surely, We shall test you until We know Al-Mujahidun (those who strive hard) amongst you, and As-Sabirun (the perseverent and steadfast individuals), and We will verify the news about you |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, We will try you until We know the ones who struggle among you and the ones who remain steadfast and We will try your reports |
| Dr Munir Munshey Surely, We shall continue to test you, till We know the ones who struggle hard for Allah and remain steadfast; and We will test you in all your affairs |
| Edward Henry Palmer But we will try you until we know those among you who fight strenuously and the patient; and we will try the reports concerning you |
| Farook Malik We shall put you to test until We know the valiant and the resolute among you, and test all that is said about you |
| George Sale And We will try you, until We know those among you who fight valiantly, and who persevere with constancy; and We will try the reports of your behaviour |
| Maududi We shall certainly test you until We know those of you who truly strive and remain steadfast, and will ascertain about you |
