﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَشَآقُّواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَن يَضُرُّواْ ٱللَّهَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَسَيُحۡبِطُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 32]
﴿إن الذين كفروا وصدوا عن سبيل الله وشاقوا الرسول من بعد ما﴾ [مُحمد: 32]
Dr Kamal Omar Verily, those who have disbelieved and they have hindered (people) from the Way of Allah, and have created hurdles for the Messenger after what became manifestly clear to them as Al-Huda — they will never hurt Allah in the least, and soon He shall make their deeds go waste |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who were ungrateful and barred from the way of God and made a breach with the Messenger after guidance became clear to them, they never hurt or profit God at all, but He will cause their actions to fail |
Dr Munir Munshey The disbelievers __ those who obstructed people from coming to the path of Allah, and have caused distress to His messenger, even after clear guidance had arrived __ will not harm Allah a bit! Allah will make their deeds lose all value |
Edward Henry Palmer Verily, those who misbelieve and turn folks off God's path, and break with the Apostle after the guidance that has been manifested to them, cannot harm God at all, and their works shall be void |
Farook Malik The unbelievers who obstruct others from the Way of Allah and disputed the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them shall in no way harm Allah; as a result, he will bring their deeds to nothing |
George Sale Verily those who believe not, and turn away men from the way of God, and make opposition against the apostle, after the divine direction hath been manifested unto them, shall not hurt God at all; but He shall make their works to perish |
Maududi Those who disbelieved and barred others from Allah´s Way and opposed the Messenger after the True Guidance had become manifest to them, they shall not be able to cause Allah the least harm; rather, Allah will reduce all their works to nought |
