﴿۞ وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ ﴾
[النَّجم: 26]
﴿وكم من ملك في السموات لا تغني شفاعتهم شيئا إلا من بعد﴾ [النَّجم: 26]
Dr Kamal Omar And how many (are) from among the angels in the heavens— their intercession (in favour of a human being) does not benefit (one) in any form except after that Allah permits for whom He thinks proper and He agrees (therewith) |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And how many an angel in the heavens is there whose intercession will avail nothing at all, but after God gives permission to whom He wills and He is well-pleased |
