﴿۞ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ فَكَذَّبُواْ عَبۡدَنَا وَقَالُواْ مَجۡنُونٞ وَٱزۡدُجِرَ ﴾
[القَمَر: 9]
﴿كذبت قبلهم قوم نوح فكذبوا عبدنا وقالوا مجنون وازدجر﴾ [القَمَر: 9]
| Dr Kamal Omar The nation of Nuh denied before them, so they belied Our Abd (Nuh) and said: “Fanatic!” And he was insolently rebuked, warned and threatened |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar The folk of Noah denied before them. They denied Our servant and said: One who is possessed! And he was deterred |
| Dr Munir Munshey Prior to them, the nation of Nooh had defied. They rejected Our servant, and said, "(He is) insane!" He was rebuked and repulsed |
